Addo Elephant Park

At the end of the iconic Garden Route lies Addo Elephant National Park. Although it is a relatively small and easy-to-navigate park, it is world-famous for its enormous elephant population. Hundreds can be found here and, because the animals have been accustomed to cars for generations, the gigantic herds often stroll calmly past your vehicle at very close range. This makes the park, together with the educational and entertaining museum at the main entrance, the ideal safari destination for family trips with children.
