Addo Elephant Park

At the end of the iconic Garden Route lies Addo Elephant National Park. Although it is a relatively small and easy-to-navigate park, it is world-famous for its huge elephant population. Hundreds can be found here and, because the animals have been accustomed to cars for generations, the enormous herds often stroll calmly past your vehicle at very close range. Together with the educational and fun museum at the main entrance, this makes the park the ideal safari destination for family trips with children.
