Namibia
Fish River Canyon
In the far, unspoilt south of Namibia lies one of the most impressive natural wonders on the African continent: the Fish River Canyon. After the Grand Canyon in America, it is the largest canyon in the world. It is a place that leaves you speechless. When you stand on the edge of the precipice, you look into a gigantic gorge stretching up to 160 kilometres and reaching depths of up to 550 metres, carved into ancient rock.
