Depending on water conditions, these mighty animals can be found here almost all year round, with a clear peak during the warmer months of  November to March .

As well as spectacular ocean safaris to spot manta rays and whale sharks, for example through the professional dive school  Peri Peri Divers,  we highly recommend a trip to the mangroves just outside the village. Here, you get into a canoe and paddle slowly across the mirror-like water. Especially around sunset, when the sun hangs low over the landscape, the silence of the mangroves reveals a magical, completely different world.
