Our top 5 bush recipes

Whenever possible, we prefer to cook over an open fire while travelling. This is usually fuelled by wood, but in countries such as Zambia, for example, charcoal is more commonly sold by the roadside than wood. We therefore always keep a good braai grill and essential basic ingredients such as flour, rice and spices in the car. These are our favourite bush recipes, which you can prepare relatively easily at any campsite.
